1. General Warranty Coverage:
- The Brilliant labs b.Board is covered by a three-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
- This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Micro:bit and accessories are excluded from warranty.
2. Warranty Claims:
● To make a warranty claim, customers must contact our Customer Service Team at support@brilliantlabs.ca with their order number, product details, and description of the defect.
● Customers may be required to provide proof of purchase and photos or videos of the defective item.
3. Warranty Service Options:
Depending on the nature of the defect, we will either:
● Repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.
● Replace the product with a new or refurbished product of the same model (or similar if unavailable).
● Issue a partial or full refund based on the product’s usage and condition.
4. Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover:
● Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized alterations, or natural disasters.
● Consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings, unless the damage is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
● Digital products, including eBooks, software, and online course subscriptions.
5. Warranty Process:
● The warranty claim will be reviewed, and the customer will be notified of its status.
● If the warranty claim is approved, the customer will be provided with shipping instructions for returning the product.
● Once the returned product is received, it will be processed, and the customer will be informed of the next steps (repair, replacement, or refund).
● Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return the item, while the company will cover the return shipping costs for the repaired or replaced item.
